Tune My Heart - Linocut Block Print

$35.00

Any seasoned musician knows one can perform a piece perfectly in technique and expression, but its’ all for naught if the instrument is out of tune.

This meditation on the lyrics from the hymn ‘Come Thou Fount’ and the call to personal introspection and repentance examines the source of divine grace and turning inwards to realign and recenter when we are ‘prone to wander'.

What does turning one’s heart look like? What does it require? How do we become familiar enough with the source of perfect pitch to recognize when we are falling flat, falling short, falling apart?

This ‘never ceasing' and ongoing process of recalibrating and striving lets us continually tune our ear and our heart to better love God, and God’s children. In so doing, we better understand the true fount of every blessing - and become the conduit of ‘streaming mercy’ ourselves.
